Magnet Therapy...Does It Work?

New research on one of the most popular therapies for pain to come along in the last few years is the treatment of pain with magnets (Neodymium). Neodymium has been invented as high strength and powerful bio-magnets. They’re made of neodymium, boron, iron and have the highest gauss ratings of any magnets. Most of the scientific and clinical research documents claims that bio-magnetic therapy can help with these types of pain:

Arthritis, Back Pain, Bone fractures, Bursitis Carpal, Tunnel Constipation, Diabetes Neuropathy, Elbow Pain, Foot Pain, Gout, Headaches, Heart Pain, Hemorrhoids, Jaw Pain, Joint Pain, Knee Pain, Leg Pain, Menstrual Cramps, Migraines, Muscles Sprains, Rheumatism, Shoulder Pain, Tendonitis, Whiplash, Wrist Pain.

According to Wolfgang Ludwig, Sc. D, Ph. D, Director of the Institute for Biophysics in Horb, Germany, “Magnetic field therapy has been used effectively in the treatment of:

Cancer, Rheumatoid disease, Infections and Inflammations, Headaches and Migraines, Insomnia and Sleep disorder, Circulatory problems, Fractures and Pain, Environmental Stress.

Researchers expressed surprise that they saw positive results from the study virtually nothing known as to how magnets work to relieve pain. With the rising popularity of magnetic fields diagnosis techniques such as MRI, Magnets and electrical devices are beginning to gain mainstream medical acceptance as human diagnostic and treatment tools. According to William H. Philpott, M. D, of Choctow, Oklahoma, an author and Biomagnetic researcher , magnetic fields can stimulate metabolism and increase the amount of oxygen available to cells and when it used properly, magnetic field therapy has no harmful side effects. Dr. Philpott believes that this will make them safer over the long term than aspirin or other over the counter medications.
